Sumeet Kumar is an MA student in the Department for the Study of Religion. He has earned his Post Graduate Diploma in Buddhist Studies and Masters in Buddhist and Tibetan Studies from the Department of Chinese and Tibetan Languages, India. His scholarly interests center on the Buddhist and Hindu Tantric traditions. His research explores the works of Mahāsiddhas (great adepts) in Sanskrit and Tibetan Manuscripts. He looks forward to interrogating the tantric doctrinal discourse in the siddha (the perfected one) lineage.
