The Ho Centre for Buddhist Studies in Toronto and the McMaster University Centre for Buddhist Studies are collaborating on a Buddhist studies writing retreat open to graduate students, postdocs, and faculty at the two Universities.
Whether it’s a prospectus, a thesis chapter, an article or a book chapter, we are ALL always writing (or feeling behind on our writing)! This can be lonely work—but it doesn’t always have to be.
In the hopes of helping us develop some strategies to support our various writing goals, and also to enjoy some community building time together, we invite graduate students and faculty working in Buddhist studies to join us for this sponsored writing retreat to be held on the weekend of November 15th-17th, 2019. We will go to Harmony Dawn retreat centre outside Hastings Ontario, covering lodging and meals for all our participants.
This retreat is only open to graduate students, postdocs, and faculty at the two Universities. Please contact Dr Betsy Moss at the U of T Centre for Buddhist Studies for details.
